What is the Forehand?

The forehand is the most common groundstroke in padel, played on your dominant side. It's typically the first shot beginners learn.

When to Hit the Forehand

When the ball comes to your dominant side at or below shoulder height.

How to Hit the Forehand

    Use a continental or eastern grip

    Turn your shoulders sideways to the net

    Step into the shot with your front foot

    Swing through the ball with a compact motion

    Follow through toward your target
